Through two regions, 12 Big 12 baseball student-athletes were named to the 2019 ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Teams.
Baylor led all Big 12 programs with four honorees, while West Virginia registered the second-most for the league with three.
In the East All-Region First Team, West Virginia’s star right-handed pitcher Alek Manoah earned recognition, while fellow teammates Darius Hill and Nick Snyder were tabbed second team honorees.
Five were named to the Midwest All-Region First Team, including the 2019 Big 12 Co-Player of the Year recipients in Baylor’s Davis Wendzel and Texas Tech’s Josh Jung. Shea Langeliers and Kyle Hill of BU and Trevor Boone of Oklahoma State capped off the league’s presence on the first team.
Midwest All-Region Second Team honors were garnered by the Bears’ Andy Thomas, TCU’s Nick Lodolo and Josh Watson, and Texas Tech’s Cameron Warren.
