Khalil Mack or 20 new players? … The Raiders’ decision to trade Khalil Mack was, let’s say, controversial, especially when Mack rampaged through pretty much any offensive lineman he came up against with the Bears. Considering Oakland’s offseason haul, losing Mack doesn’t seem like nearly as big a deal as it did in 2018. Whether their plan ends up working, however, remains to be seen. Read More

REMEMBER WHEN?
On this date in 1977, a child was born, of which we know only two things. First, for some strange reason, no one could see him. Second, his name was JOHN CENA.
WHAT’S ON TONIGHT?
Marlins at Indians (6:10 p.m. ET, ESPN+): Both of these teams are having difficulty actually hitting the ball, with both teams putting up anemic .215 batting averages. One notable exception: Cleveland first baseman Carlos Santana, who’s second in the AL with a .379 mark. Only one home run, though, which puts him in the unusual position of having an OBP higher than his SLG.
Magic at Raptors (7 p.m. ET, NBATV), Nets at 76ers (8 p.m. ET, TNT), Spurs at Nuggets (9:30 p.m. ET, NBATV), Thunder at Trail Blazers (10:30 p.m. ET, TNT): Three of these series could end tonight, with the Spurs and Nuggets the only one that has a guaranteed Game 6. The Magic, Nets and Thunder will have uphill battles to keep their seasons going — they’ve got to win difficult Game 5s on the road against energized opponents. Not an enviable position to be in.
Maple Leafs at Bruins (7 p.m. ET, NBCSN), Golden Knights at Sharks (10 p.m. ET, NBCSN): We’ve got not one, but TWO Game 7s in the NHL playoffs tonight. The Maple Leafs and Bruins have matched up blow for blow in their series, while the Golden Knights are trying to engineer a 3-1 comeback against the Sharks. Exciting!
