THINGS TO CARE ABOUT

Nap, shooting, hot sauce … No, it’s not some updated version of “Gym, tan, laundry” (speaking of that, “Jersey Shore” turns 10 years old this year, if you want to feel like that dude at the end of “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” who ages 1,000 years in 10 seconds). It’s just a small part of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s heavily scripted pregame routine. Weird? Maybe. But as you might have noticed, it seems to be working for Giannis. Read More

REMEMBER WHEN?

WHAT’S ON TONIGHT?

Magic at Hornets (8 p.m. ET, ESPN): It’s Game 82, and the Hornets are still alive for a playoff spot. True, they need the Pistons to fall to the 62-loss Knicks, but a Detroit loss and a Charlotte win over the Magic (who broke a playoff drought of their own earlier this week) will keep the buzz going for at least four more games.

Brewers at Angels (10:07 p.m. ET, ESPN+): Christian Yelich and Mike Trout have started their seasons like you’d expect, but while the Brewers have responded by winning, the Angels are scuffing along around .500. That has been Trout’s issue for most of his career — exceptional production not quite matched by the rest of his squad.

Jazz at Clippers (10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN): This matchup could determine whether the Clippers face the Warriors in the first round of the NBA playoffs, so don’t look for them to take their season finale lightly.
