The 2019 Equestrian Championship is set to begin this weekend, starting Friday, March 29, and running through Saturday, March 30.
Three Big 12 programs (Baylor, Oklahoma State and TCU) will compete in four Equestrian disciplines: Equitation over Fences, Equitation on the Flat, Horsemanship and Reining.
Baylor capped off the season with a 3-1 record, earning the No. 1 seed heading into the round-robin style championship.
The Big 12 has all three of its programs ranked within the top eight of all four events in the NCEA national rankings. Topping that, at least one Big 12 program is ranked within the top three in the nation in all four events.
The Lady Bears will face No. 3 seeded TCU at 10 a.m. CT on Friday, March 29, followed by the first half of No. 2 Oklahoma State and No. 3 TCU. Day two will open with OSU and TCU completing their round and finish with a No. 1 BU vs. No. 2 Oklahoma State face-off.
