K-State junior Peyton Williams earned her first career Big 12 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor for her Week 18 performance, while Texas Tech’s Chrislyn Carr was named Freshman of the Week for the fifth time this season.
Williams scored 18 of her game-high 24 points in the second half, as the Wildcats overcame a 14-point halftime deficit to win at Oklahoma State. The junior grabbed 14 rebounds and dished out three assists in the contest.
Carr tallied 26 points to lead the Lady Raiders to an 88-82 victory over Oklahoma. The freshman has registered seven 20-point performances this season.
