Five from Big 12 Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District

A total of five Big 12 men’s and women’s basketball student-athletes garnered Google Cloud Academic All-District® recognition from the College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-District Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

Michael Jacobson (Iowa State – District 6), Makai Mason (Baylor – District 7) and Davide Moretti (Texas Tech – District 7) earned first team accolades. Brittany Brewer (Texas Tech) and Peyton Williams (Kansas State) also earned First Team District 7 recognition.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, with first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees to be announced in March.
