Five Big 12 programs were ranked while one received votes in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association’s (NCBWA) Division I preseason poll.
Texas Tech (No. 3), Baylor (No. 16), Texas (No. 18), Oklahoma State (20) and TCU (No. 21) represented the league in the ranking, while Oklahoma received votes in the poll.
All five programs in the poll rank within the top-21, making the Big 12 Conference one of two conferences to do so.
The 2019 season opens on Friday, February 15, while Conference play begins on Friday, March 15.
After earning berths to the College World Series three of the last five years, including last season, TTU earns the highest ranking of conference team in the poll.
