Heavyweight title contender Bryant Jennings of Philadelphia faces Colombia’s Oscar Rivas in the main event of a Top Rank card that will air live on ESPN+ in the United States at 9:30 p.m. ET on Friday from the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York.
Jennings (24-2, 14 KOs) won all his three fights in 2018, including an impressive TKO victory in Round 9 over Alexander Dimitrenko at the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City in August. He has won five fights in a row since consecutive loses against Wladimir Klitschko and Luis Ortiz in 2015.
Rivas (25-0, 17 KOs) who was born in Colombia but fights out of Montreal, Canada, hasn’t fought in the U.S. since a TKO victory over Jason Pettaway in 2015 in Shelton, Washington. Rivas has won 7 of his last 10 fights by stoppage.
