West Virginia senior Katrina Pardee collected the first Big 12 Player of the Week honor of her career, while Texas Tech’s Chrislyn Carr was tabbed Freshman of the Week for the second time this season.
Pardee tied a career-high with 28 points and connected on six three-pointers in West Virginia’s 84-32 win over Niagara. The senior made 9-of-11 from the field (81.8%) and grabbed seven rebounds in the victory. Pardee became the first WVU player since November 2017 to score 25 or more points in back-to-back games.
Carr netted 29 points in just 26 minutes of play in the victory over Abilene Christian. The freshman tied a career high with six rebounds and dished out six assists and collected two steals in the victory. Seventeen of Carr’s 29 points came in the first half.
