In an eight-year career with the St. Louis Cardinals, Twins and Yankees, Lynn has a 82-57 record and a 3.57 ERA.

Lynn began his major league career in 2011 with the Cardinals, appearing in just 18 games during the regular season but breaking through in the postseason. He pitched in 10 games and got the win in Game 2 of the NLCS by throwing just one pitch.

He was an All-Star in 2012, going 11-4 with a 3.41 ERA in 17 starts before the break.

He signed with the Twins as a free agent in March 2018, agreeing to a one-year, $12 million deal.
