Postseason Runs Continue After Four-Set Victories

ISU took advantage of its home court and advanced to the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) Semifinals. The Cyclones were led by senior Jess Schaben as she tied her season-high with 26 kills on a .429 hitting clip. Schaben earned her 18th double-double of the season with 11 digs.

The Longhorns of UT were led by senior outside hitter Micaya White and her 21 kills. Her attacking performance matched a season-high as Texas now advances to the NCAA Championship Regional Round Final for the 13th-straight time. No. 5 seeded UT will play host-team and No. 4 seeded BYU on Saturday, December 8 for spot in the NCAA Championship Final Four for a 13th straight season.

On Saturday, December 8 the Cyclones will host UNLV for the NIVC Semifinals as they look to be the second Big 12 program to make the NIVC Final.

Winner of the Iowa State/UNLV match will play College of Charleston/Tulane at a site and time yet to be decided.

ISU’s match is set to begin at 12 p.m. CT, while UT’s match is set for a 7 p.m. CT start.
