Texas’ Tate Jackson, Jordan Windle, Claire Adams and Murphy Bromberg were awarded Big 12 swimming and diving honors for week four.
Jackson received Men’s Swimmer of the Week after winning three individual events (50 free, 100 free, and 100 fly) and helping the 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams to victory. In the 100 freestyle event, the senior set a program and Texas Swimming Center record with a time of 41.06.
Adams was awarded Women’s Swimmer of the Week for the second time in her career, after finishing in the top two in the 100 free, 100 back and 400 medley relay. The junior swimmer also helped the Longhorns win and set a school and pool record in the 200 and 400 freestyle relays with times of 1:26.84 and 3:09.56.
Windle was tabbed Men’s Diver of the Week for the third consecutive week and eighth time in his career, after being the only diver to place in the top three of all three events at the 2018 Texas Hall of Fame Diving Invitation. The sophomore placed first in the 3-meter, second in the 1-meter and third in the platform.
Bromberg received Women’s Diver of the Week for earning three top five finishes at the 2018 Texas Hall of Fame Diving Invite. The diver placed first in the platform, second in the 3-meter and fifth in the 1-meter.
