November 10, 2018

Baylor and West Virginia finished up first-round play of the NCAA Soccer Championship with shutout victories. Fifty percent of Big 12 teams advanced to the second round for the first time since 2008.

The No. 2 seed WVU set a program NCAA Tournament goal record and rolled to a 6-0, opening-round win over Radford. Today’s win pushes the Mountaineers into the second round for the fourth consecutive season and the 13th time in program history.

BU, also ranked as the No. 2 seed, defeated Abilene Christian 2-0 Saturday night. Sarah King scored an early goal to give the Bears a 1-0 lead at the half.
