Jordan Windle, Remedy Rule and Alison Gibson from Texas along with David Dixon from West Virginia tabbed Big 12 swimming and diving honors.
Dixon was awarded Men’s Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season and third in his career, after winning six
individual events and two relays in the past two weeks. The sophomore swimmer also earned the nation’s No. 1 time in the
200 fly this season (1:43.81).
Rule received Women’s Swimmer of the Week, for the second time in her career, after helping Texas to the top spot in the
latest CSCAA rankings after placing first in the 100 fly (53.15) and 200 fly (1:56.60). Both of her times in the butterfly
qualified as NCAA ‘B’ standards.
Windle tabbed Men’s Diver of the Week for the sixth time in his career, after being one of only two divers to finish in the
top-3 in both events at the double dual against No. 3 Indiana and No. 8 Florida. The sophomore placed third in the 1-meter
(399.15) and second in the 3-meter (429.95).
Gibson earned Women’s Diver of the Week for winning the 1-meter (311.15) and the 3-meter (347.15) events against No. 6
Indiana and No. 19 Florida. This is the third career honor for the junior.
