The date all of Gator Nation circled before the year began will now be seen live by the largest crowd of the season. The Gators Ticket Office announced today that Saturday’s Florida-LSU game is sold out.

Coach Dan Mullen worked tirelessly in the offseason to instill a fervor among UF students about creating a deafening environment inside The Swamp.

“It should be fun for our student body,” Mullen said to the media Monday. “If you look in college football, student bodies set the tempo and really set the atmosphere for everybody else. They come in and they’re on their feet, jumping up and down, going crazy in the game. I think the rest of the crowd feeds off that.

“That’s one of the things I want us to get back to, having the student body really dominate the environment.”

This is Florida’s first sellout since Nov. 28, 2015 against FSU, and the Gators first sellout against an SEC opponent since the Gators hosted Ole Miss on Oct. 3, 2015.

 #WearBlue on Saturday

Florida fans attending Saturday’s game against LSU are encouraged to wear blue.

Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange

Fans wishing to purchase tickets must do so via Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange—which is the only verified source of secondary market tickets. Purchasing through Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange (linked above) guarantees fans’ entry to the game.

Secondary tickets acquired in any other fashion do not guarantee entry.

SEC Nation

SEC Network’s traveling pregame show, SEC Nation, will air live from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday at the Plaza of the Americas on Saturday ahead of the Florida-LSU game.

UF students are encouraged to show up early, as there will be donuts, coffee and juice for the first 200 students who show their Gator-1 card.

That show, which features UF alum Laura Rutledge and Gator Great Tim Tebow, kicks off an exciting day in Gainesville.

#FinebaumFriday

In addition to the live show Saturday, the Plaza of the Americas will play host Friday to The Paul Finebaum Show Presented by Johnsonville, which airs from 3-7 p.m. on SEC Network. Fans are invited to catch all four hours of #FinebaumFriday from their set on campus.

Guests with Paul Finebaum include Mullen, Athletic Director Scott Stricklin and Gator Great Tim Tebow.

Reunions & Celebrations

The Gators will celebrate and recognize three national championship teams—2008 football 10-year reunion; 1993 men’s golf 25-year reunion; 2018 men’s indoor track and field—and officially induct Tim Tebow into the Ring of Honor.

It’s been 10 years since 2008 captains Louis Murphy, James Smith, Brandon Spikes, Ryan Stamper, Tim Tebow and Phil Trautwein helped guide the Gators on a magical run that ended with a 24-14 win over Oklahoma in the BCS National Championship Game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

The championship squad will be recognized and honored at halftime on the field.

Tim Tebow Ring of Honor Unveiled

Two-time National Champion and 2007 Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow will be inducted into the University of Florida Football’s Ring of Honor at the end of the first quarter on Saturday.

Tebow, who’s perhaps the most decorated athlete in college football history, will have his name displayed in the North Endzone of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

The display, which will be approximately 18-feet wide and five feet high, will now feature Tebow, along with Wilber Marshall, Emmitt Smith, Steve Spurrier, Danny Wuerffel and Jack Youngblood. Marshall was the most recent inductee (Sept. 29, 2007), while the other four members were part of the original unveiling back on Sept. 30, 2006 as part of the 100-year Celebration of Gator Football.

 Expanded Gator Walk Village

The Gator Walk Village, a premium tailgate setup, along with Gator Walk and food trucks on the North Lawn in between University Avenue and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium will once again expand, adding to the lively pre-game atmosphere and entertainment surrounding the stadium. The North Lawn will also feature the Gator Garden, where those over the age of 21 will be able to enjoy beverages prior to the game. The Gator Garden will open three hours prior to kickoff and close 45 minutes before kickoff. A water station featuring 2,500 12-ounce water bottles, priced at one dollar each, will be near the Gator Garden.

Partnering with Tailgate Guys for a sixth season, 18 shaded tents (four more than last season) will be set up by Gator Walk on University Avenue, providing a unique, exciting, all-encompassing tailgating experience.

Fans will once again be able to enjoy a number of food truck options, including Cilantro Tacos, Mayflower Cellars, Soup To Nuts, Papa’s Pineapples, Monsta Lobsta, Kona Ice, and more. Participating vendors will vary each week and open roughly two-and-a-half hours before kickoff.
