I don't think we learned much the first two weeks, and I don't think we'll learn much this week.
If MSU keeps this mildly close, I'll be surprised, Irish are favored by 29.5

Well poop. This is in the evening slot, same time as Texas and LSU. Wife got TV rights last weekend, I'm calling dibs this weekend, but with YTTV I can only easily switch back and forth between two games.
MSU @ ND is going to be the odd game out, and I was hoping for that to at least by my alternate. Maybe I can convince her to watch Texas on the bedroom TV and I hog the living room for myself.
Maybe you're right and it won't be a good game, but I can always root for the upset. As a native Louisianan, my Domer-hating credentials are naturally strong :) (No, this does not have anything to do with Brian Kelly; the typical LSU fan reaction to mentioning Notre Dame which ranges from eye-roll to outright ire long predates anything to do with Kelly.)

With YTTV you can split the screen into multi-view and watch up to four games at the same time!

That's true. I'm supposed to be able to build my own multi-view if YTTV doesn't offer it on the home screen, though I haven't learned how to do that yet.
I've used multi-view before and I found the experience to be a little lacking as far as following the game I was most interested in. It's definitely a tradeoff. Maybe if I had a huge TV like I see in commercials that tout multi-view, it'd be different. Our TV isn't small, but it's certainly not a giant like some are, and when cut into quarters the games are a bit small.
But this could be a workable option. Glad you reminded me.
-
Yup you can build your own multi-view. It's pretty easy once you figure out how to navigate to that and then find your options. Sometimes the options aren't ordered in a way that makes sense, and it doesn't seem to follow my preferences or the way I've styled my channel guide. But you can limit it to "Sports" and that narrows it down pretty well.

Oh I think AnnArborAdam will probably forgive me for pulling for Blue in that game. Or perhaps not...
-
All right Buster you're introducing a note of discord early, cheering for the Loghorns I can see but pimping the fugitives, why i ougtta

I'm just happy this game is happening. MSU and ND should play each other.
I'm also curious to see how MSU compares to UW in their ND game.

Come on man, you're the one who brought up that other game on this game's thread.
The good thing is we can all agree that we want Sparty to win this weekend.

I don't think @SFBadger96 (https://www.cfb51.com/index.php?action=profile;u=51) can agree.
Love often outweighs good taste.
-
No offense but if he had good taste would he be mumbling to this bunch? I'll show myself out.

Well being a thread hijacker yourself I figured you might appreciate that.....ya think ya know somebody

Indeed. Everyone thinks they have good taste and a sense of humor.
I have nothing against Sparty. Indeed, many times I like to see MSU performing well--particularly against their in-state neighbor to the southeast.
And while I am not a contrarian, I have always been willing and able to hold my position going against the grain. Here that means supporting Notre Dame (among other things).
So go Irish. But I do hope to see Sparty put up a fight, if for no other reason than to provide support to my desire to be right (most of us that that desire) that Fickell needs to go, and Wisconsin's loss to ND is evidence of that.

You could just go ahead and lose to MSU in a few weeks then?
-
Wouldn't bother me at all. That happens, and the Badgers will very likely be in the middle of a five-game losing streak, which should put an end to the silliness in Kellner Hall. Of course I would prefer Wisconsin were in the middle of a seven-game winning streak, but I very much doubt that will happen.
