down goes Bama

BOOMER!
SOONER!

You won't see many wins in games where the opponent overwhelmingly dominated plays, yards, and time of possession like Bama did today. But when you take the ball away three times, and you don't give the ball away at all, you have a chance.

Good luck to the Huskers against Penn State and Iowa.

will certainly need luck vs both of them

Penn St. has much more talent and playing at home
Iowa has always been more lucky, especially in Lincoln

Mizzou and LSU are dangerous teams but, the Sooners get them at home

We're not that dangerous.

I thought OU would woodshed us last year, though, and it didn't happen, so there's always a chance! :72:

You never can tell about a team that got its HFC fired.

Iowa was not lucky last night. Managed to let USC score the last 17 points in the game.

Mizzou is getting its #1 QB back. We'll see how close he is to how he was playing before he got hurt.

LSU . . . that "got its coach fired" situation again. You just don't know what to expect.

I'm glad we get both of them at home, but we didn't play well at home against Ole Miss. We've seemingly played better in road games.

It's going to be very interesting come playoff time to see how the clear cream of the crop in the XII holds up.  That outfit in Lubbock is for real.

The Cats looked horrific, but employed the bend but don't break strategy well, giving up a ton of yards to a pathetic OSU team, but did not allow a touchdown.  Good thing, because the offense sure didn't get off the bus.

Utah is pretty salty, and will certainly demolish K-State this Saturday at home.  I don't think they make the XII Championship game, so will almost certainly be left out of a playoff that is clearly favoring the mega conferences.

Congrats to the Sooner fans, must be fun beating Bama 2 consecutive years, and this one breaking their 17-game home win streak.

Expect that if you can score 25 points, you win.  That being the max pts LSU has scored on a P4 team this year.

Heck, if you field even a top 50 defense, you probably win only scoring 16-17.

Depending on if Mateer is a runner, the difficulty of scoring that many points varies greatly.

Thanks, WC4E! Yes, it's nice to beat Bama 2 years running. Before that, the last time we met was in the 2018 (season) Orange Bowl, where we fell way behind early and Bama coasted to an 11-point win.

We've got losing records against several historical blue-bloods--Notre Dame, USC, and Texas right off the top of my head. But we're up on Bama 5-2-1 at this point.
