K-State has done a better job of catching up!
I'm glad OU/Texas still lives on.  Too many rivalries are ending in the new age of conference realignment. The Big XII is killing the KSU/Iowa State streak of consecutive games soon.

The current series record sure looks a lot better than it did.  61-25-5 when I paid my last tuition was pretty bad, even though the majority of that came before facemasks and plastic helmets!

We won't discuss the impossible hole that has developed in the basketball series after they hired Danny Manning's Dad to be an assistant coach...

Probably more devious, and I must confess-- both genius and bold--than designating a storage closet to store a .45 and a couple of magazines in to get around the steel rationing.

But the government mandates and restrictions seem to have never stopped.
so, any and all fieldhouses constructed after 1941 are guilty

I don't think you currently possess the hops to make a leap like that.

Then again, I thought you were old when we first started posting in the same places in 1998.  And now look at us all.

Less than a year away from being on "this" board with this group of posters for 20 years!

By my reckoning my first post on collegefootballnews.com would've been on Oct. 9, 2006, as I believe it was the Monday after the LSU/UF game.

There were a lot more Sooners around here then.  A couple of Texas Tech guys too.  We've lost a Longhorn, and another has been truant for years now.  We also lost an Okie. St. fan.  There was a KSU lady who has been AWOL for several years.

The SEC board was hopping with posters.  Several more LSU and Tennessee fans, a couple more Georgia fans, at least 4 Arkansas fans, and a couple more Florida fans.  There was even a Clanga representative, PharmDawg, though he was rarely seen even when I remember him being here.  Auburn had a decent representation as well.  Two Ole Miss guys I can think of.  And one South Carolina fan who I really miss....a sort of SEC Anti-Homer.

The PAC board actually had several posters and active threads.  Maybe I should say, "There actually was a PAC board."

The Big Ten board talked about football, instead of literally everything else.  We lost the only (I think) Northwestern fan a few years ago.

Never went to the ACC board much, but I don't remember it ever having that much traffic anyway when I dropped in.  There was probably a Big East board....don't remember.

It's crazy how quick the time flew, in some ways.  In other ways, it seems like a lifetime ago.
