is Lamar Jackson the new Peyton Manning? Great in the regular season, but can't show up in the post-season and win a playoff game?

Peyton took the NFL by storm early on, won an MVP early on, but went 5 or 6 years straight of getting to the playoffs and playing like horseshit and getting bounced out round 1.

I mean this is his 2nd season as a starter, seems premature.

Manning didn't win an MVP til his 6th season, Lamar did in his 2nd, 1st as a starter.

We'll see,Lamar's style I feel will catch up just a shorter shelf life with the contact.Mahomes can toss the ball consistently,so pocket passers still have their place

That dropped TD pass by #83 on Bears looms large.

He doesn’t seem to embrace the contact though. He’s not like Cam, he seems pretty smart about the hits and going out of bounds and sliding. He’s also just so much faster than any other QB I’ve ever seen with the exception of Vick. They are the only two guys who were legitimately faster than all the other DBs, WRs, and RBs on the field. As long as he runs away from people and slides and goes out of bounds he can keep playing this way imo.

It was premature, and what I was suggesting was that if he didn’t win today- and they were down 10-0 to the Titans at one point- that the narrative would start to be that.

Lamar is the best QB the Ravens have ever had. And he’s definitely one of the top 5-8 QBs in the entire league. He’s got to win in the post-season to be considered the elite of the elite- and he just did that today with a huge comeback win.

Massive drop, especially for an offense that struggles to score anyway.

Cower said just that during half time but that's obvious even to the casual viewer
