The Bucs defense is extremely fun to watch.

I liked the pick, but man Jeff Okudah has been horrible
It was a bad pick. Period. You don’t take a corner that high unless he’s an unbelievable prospect like a Woodson or Champ Bailey. Okudah was FAR from that.

Anyone catching the ending of the Falcons blowing another game? This time to the Lions? Don't know if I've ever seen anyone end up losing because they "accidently" scored a TD.

3:20 - Lions FG 16-14
1:32 - Falcons trim clock, set up a 1st Down at Lions 20 (Lions all 3 TOs left)
1:14 - Falcons RB runs a 3rd&1 for 1st Down to Lions 10
1:05 - Falcons TD on run up middle, couldn't keep from letting up and NOT breaking plane of GL, Lions defenders standing around motioning a TD, RB later says momentum carried him into endzone
1:05 - 2PT Conversions puts Falcons up 22-16
0:00 - Lions score TD with no time on clock, Stafford pass to Hockenson

why couldn't the Falcons have choked away a loss vs the Vikings?

Tampa is going to win the Super Bowl if Evans & Godwin can get back close to 100% healthy- and it looks like both are getting closer every week- and if they can get anything out of AB at all.

I wouldn’t trust Antonio Brown in any other locker room. But he seems to really almost worship Brady and that is probably the only QB in the entire league that I think Brown will fall in line for.

If they get anything at all from Antonio Brown- they could wind up being the best WR corps in NFL history. Evans & Godwin were both Pro Bowl caliber last year and are smack dab in the primes of their careers. Gronkowski seems to be rounding into form and looking like his old self the last two weeks in a row. Brate is a really nice #2 TE. And little Scotty Miller has been a huge surprise- don’t mistake him for Edelman or Welker or Amendola- this dude is a legit 4.3 burner. Not to mention the rookie from Minnesota Tyler Johnson has caught TD passes two weeks in a row now. They are only going to get better week by week.

Yeah- seem like the only nfc contender with a defense. Seattle and GB defenses can’t stop anyone.

Vikings throwing in the towel on the season
an 3rd round pick?  That ain't much

(Already) Looking back on the Vikings disappointing season, I think their back was broken after the painful loss to Seattle. Minnesota controlled the first half and were holding off a strong push by Russ to end the game. Zimmer's oversight was good and his decision to go for it on 4th down inside the Seahawks' red zone against tired defense was fine. Then Seattle stopped the Vikings and Russ was magical on a 97 yard drive. The wind was out of the Vikings' sails by then, to the point that by the next Sunday they were blown out by a Falcons team bent on finding the most creative ways to choke (see above). Hold on against Seattle, take care of business Vs Atlanta, and a 3-3 Vikings would have a very different outlook going into the rest of the season. Zimmer would likely be receiving a good amount of praise for holding everything together.

Seattle was known for GREAT defense, and well now that defense is atrocious. It’s ranked 31st in the league right now in pass defense and in total defense. It is terrible. I believe only the Cowboys have a worse defense right now.

That’s not a recipe for success in the playoffs.

As for Seattle and the playoffs, with a bottom feeding defense forcing Russ to engineer wins by shoot out (which finally caught up with Seattle during this past loss Vs Arizona), the 2020 Seahawks are the NFL's equivalent to a Mike D'Antoni coached NBA team. Plenty of scoring yielding plenty of regular season wins, but nothing that can be depended on when the stakes are higher against a Chicago or Tampa defense taking aim.

Chicago isn’t making the playoffs imo. Chicago is about to go on a 5+ game losing streak, and Green Bay is winning the north and the wildcard teams will be New Orleans, Arizona, and LA Rams imo.

Foles is turning back into- well Foles. Aside from a fluke playoff run and two games vs Tom Brady- we saw who he really is Monday night. That’s who he really is. Chicago was lucky as hell to beat Detroit, Atlanta, and Tampa- honestly all 3 of those wins were flukish. Bears have zero talent on offense- their offense is trash.

They do however might have the best defense in the nfl, and they certainly have the best defensive player in the entire league imo in Khalil Mack.

Carlos Dunlap traded to Seattle. Sounds like Green Bay is trying to make a play for Will Fuller and that the Patriots are shopping Stephon Gillmore.
