Yeah, Foles just beats the hell out of me. He’s garbage 99% of the time but in 4th qtr comebacks or clutch situations he tends to just pull shit out of his ass and get W’s. It’s insane. Never seen anything like it.
On days the D is playing well, Foles will bring out his worst and limp to a 13-10 victory. When the D can't stop anyone he'll throw for over 300 w/ 4TDs.

it's tough

it's obviously a QB driven league.  gotta have a top 10 QB to have a chance at the SB, but you also need other players on offense and ya gotta have a defense

the ticket has been to have a guy like Brady or Brees or Peyton Manning restructure the contract or get a young guy like Wilson or Mahomes before they cash in.

Seahawks are a perfect example of this. Before they had to pay Russ the Seahawks had an all-pro back, an all-timer of a secondary, and solid play from the front seven and OL. Now that Russ has cashed in, is any part of the roster as good as it was under Russ's rookie contract? The only unit that might be on par is WRs which is led by Metcalf who the Seahawks won't be able to afford to re-up. Yes, the Seahawks are 5-0, but it's all because Russ does all the "cooking." Seattle is not built for the playoffs.

Pro athletes live in a suburb of sorts, where instead of keeping up with who has the nicest yard, children in private school, and a family vacation to Charleston, they keep obsessive track of each other's contracts for the sake of their own status, until cashing in as a point of comparison without any mind to what's left over for the GM to work with. Brady and Brees at least have enough self awareness to not care as much.

Great point. Seattle hit on Metcalff who is an elite WR- in the 2nd rd. He’s being paid peanuts right now.

Seattle was known for GREAT defense, and well now that defense is atrocious. It’s ranked 31st in the league right now in pass defense and in total defense. It is terrible. I believe only the Cowboys have a worse defense right now.

That’s not a recipe for success in the playoffs.

Ravens trade for OLB/DE pass rush specialist Yannick Ngakoue. That’s a great addition to an already stingy defense.

Also sounding like Ravens in the running to sign Antonio Brown after week 8. The chatter is it’s down to either Seattle or Baltimore. Not sure Seattle needs AB. Baltimore probably doesn’t need him either, but they could use the help. Seattle has a loaded WR corps already.

The guy is ass unless his agent gave him an earful or perhaps he's already running out of coin and a light bulb went off. That many teams can't be full of it.Crap the Raiders sent him packing

Big game tonight! The division leader is in massive trouble after their season-ending QB injury, so we have the teams 0.5 games back and 1 game back from the division leader battling it out to see who will lead their division to the playoffs!

The winner of this game then is only 2 or 3 games off .500!

at least college football has the decency to give teams of play on Thursdays and by week the week before. The NFL Thursday night games are absolute garbage

And the Cowboys and Washington faceoff Sunday, so along with the Eagles "tripping up" the little Giants, the NFC East will finally notch more than 1 win this week.
