Hmm, I guess the game is to see where there are kinks that don't totally fit. And this one is interesting.
No argument with Bevell. Wilson was the best to play at UW, but he played there only a year, whereas Bevell was really great for his time and started forever.
RB is interesting because it speaks to some things. I'm shocked Hill got THAT many carries. He only played three years, missed maybe a third of a season and had to hold off a more talented backup another. Davis had the misfortune that his two great seasons came early in his career, not late. The fact Davis' seasons, 1466 and 1555, are not in the top 10 in bonkers.
With White/Gordon, you had a weird thing where three of UW's top five rushers overlapped by multiple years. The No. 3 rusher was a one-year starter and only had one other year in the top-two. The No. 5 rusher started only one year. The early 90s backs were good I guess.
WRs look fine. TE is a reminder he really put up some crazy numbers. Meyer's inclusion is mostly about the offenses those years. I guess those returners look OK, I could make a case for either Jim or Brandon Williams at punt, a few guys at kick.
It's interesting how the balance and non-traditional QBing make this sorta silly for Nebraska.
