Will the Real B1G Please Stand Up SOC 10/27/18

Soccer is gloriously over, and none too soon as it rained all day yesterday and is raining right now.  I did venture out to get some donuts - the local bajery sells these little cherry turnover things with nuts that are really good.  My main task now is to not eat all the donuts before the kids wake up.

In any event, the Big 2ish are off, leaving the little 12ish to make some statements.  Minnesota scored a big win last night over Indiana, leaving both two wins shy of a bowl berth.  Really six teams today needs wins in their three games, which makes for some fun college football.  Unfortunately, I have a one year old's birthday party to attend sometime this afternoon.  Whoopee.

Not sure about cooking.  Perfect day for something low and slow, but not the perfect day to go out and buy the something to cook low and slow.  We'll see if my motivation improves.

Pancake breakfast fundraiser for the local volunteer fire department this morning

I will be there in 2 hours

probably won't need much food the rest of the day

some interesting B1G games today.  I'll be watching unless I hit the golf course.

I'll probably keep an eye on those game, but prolly foing to flip back and forth between B1G contests at noon and then Iowa-PSU.  Haven't seen Iowa all year.

Friend was in from out of town. He lives a tad more youthfully than I. I joined him, spent too many $$ on beer, feeling the after affects. 

Need to go retrieve a car. Might get some BBQ from a super good truck that's rarely open. Pondering the cost. Been a spend-y week.

Nice, Fearless!  Sounds like a great day!  
It's cold and rainy here in the East.  I'll be patching sheetrock, insulating an attic, working in drive-by mode on the computer so we can meet an FDA deadline, all leading up to watching Terps/Illinois at 3:30.

Great news on the domestic front.  We waited until the last minute to get Halloween costumes for the girls.  So we went to Walmart this morning, where everything was picked over.  Instead of my plan to make the girls pick something, my wife wanted to go to the Halloween store.  I find the Halloween store right before Halloween to be a low rent neighborhood in hell, and I bitched enough that my wife dropped me off back at the house.  Now I'm warm and dry and playing Red Dead Redemption 2.  Success!

Outdoor Halloween party this evening.   Bonfires, hayrides big bbq spread at a farm. Biggest bounce house I've ever seen.  Kids will love it.  A little hard to keep up on games.

Wlocp should deserve m attention today.

At my brother's wedding in Nashville.  Will prbabpro see tile about mid 3rd of the noon games.  Not even going to bother fighting for control of the TV away from the UW contingent, just to watch MSU get slaughtered.

Mornin' all. Slept until 10:40. I guess I was really tired from all the moving and work and stuff. I haven't done that since I was in my 20's.
