Badgers host the Goophs at Noon. Fuskers travel to Iowa City at 7:30.

And lots of other good games today.

RIP Tulane's playoff hopes.

Going to miss part of the game to hang out with a high school friend who I only get to see a couple times a year and his family.

Not the most busted up to not be living and dying with the swings of that game.

Should be eating some leftovers, and might try to go for a run, but my body is honestly feeling pretty cooked at the moment.

Edit: Oh, I am meeting my friend and his wife at a bagel place. The people in my life have been talking up for years, and I finally get a chance to try it.

Another imaginary playoff team disappears. Never to exist.

I was a little surprised they got jumped like that. Memphis is relatively good, but I thought the green wave had a little more gumption to it.

A beautiful but cool day today, I'm thinking of going to a nearby state park, traffic should be tolerable.

RIP Tulane's playoff hopes.
With Tulane cleared out of the way, the only two ranked G5 teams are:
  • #11 10-1 Boise
  • #22 9-2 UNLV

Boise lost by 3 at Oregon.  UNLV lost by a FG in OT at home to Syracuse and by five at home to Boise.  This weekend they have:
  • Boise hosts Oregon State today at noon.
  • UNLV hosts Nevada tomorrow at 8pm.

If they both win they'll face each other in the MWCCG which will effectively make the MWCCG a play-in game for the playoffs.

I'm going to watch every minute of it. Might be the last game to root for the Badgers this season.

Cold morning here in the Twin Cities. 14 degrees with a brisk wind out of the northwest.

This is a CBS game, so we've got 'CCO on. I haven't watched a full episode of The Price Is Right since Bob Barker retired, and today's show reminded me why I haven't.

You don't love Drew Carey and the male models?

I don't like how Drew Carey hosts, but it probably because my first office job started in the spring of 2007, and the change of hosts added to the change in life meant that it was a clean break from one place in life to the next.

TPIR is such a sad production now.   Drew Carey is so disinterested.     His dressing room must hang a sign in the mirror which shows his bi-weekly pay stub, because I've never seen a more bored 'talent' on any program.      The Johnny Olsons and Rod Roddy have to be puking in their graves if they hear the current announcer too.
