In HS Latin, our teacher would record us singing, and I'm pretty sure my version of Gaudeamus Igitur was the worst thing ever recorded ....

Yeah Neil Young's voice is nails on a chalkboard level of horror.

There are plenty of singers and bands I just don't like, and could consider something by them as the worst song ever recorded, but that's too easy.

I think I'll pick a song from a band that I actually like, that just wrote and recorded a terrible song.

And that song is Foreigner's "I Wanna Know What Love Is"

Words can't describe how much I despise this song.

This is the same band that pumped out testosterone-laced bangers like "Hot Blooded" and "Urgent" and "Jukebox Hero" but then turned around and  produced THAT sappy POS?????

Blech.

Yeah, that's kind of what I'm trying to isolate.   Specific tracks by either non-offensive or otherwise accomplished singers/bands, yet the one song just stops you in its tracks, and yields such vile emotion.
