Never know they can build on it and get hot at the right time - not that I want them to you understand
Eh even if we somehow made the CFP we're no threat to tOSU.  That game has already been played and I'd expect the same result in a rematch.

This Texas team is nowhere near that level.  We're not going to make the playoffs so it's not even worth talking about.

The Horns' upcoming game against Vanderbilt on 11/1 in Austin will be Texas' first home game since 9/20 and the first home game of the entire season against a P4 team.  So far only road games @Ohio State, @Florida, @Kentucky, @Miss State.  And then of course the neutral site game at the Cotton Bowl vs. OU.

Vanderbilt
@Georgia

Arkansas
Texas A&M

Do these feel like conference games for you guys?

Looks like a bunch of obscure bowl matchups.

that feels about as natural as Washington vs Illinois in a Big Ten conference matchup.

Yay tv contracts!

hey, Texas still not out though if they win out.

lot of rumors from NFL'ers that Sark is trying to get a HC job in the NFL. you want him back or would you be cool with him leaving?

He's struggling trying to be both a HC and OC at Texas.  If he wants to leave then there's no point in trying to keep him around.  But honestly I don't believe anybody wants to hire him as a HC in the NFL, sounds like bullshit to me.

Yeah, pretty much the same as Ohio State games versus Washington, UCLA, and Rutgers.

Texas v Kansas State, Iowa State, and Colorado felt so much more natural though.
Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, and Arkansas.  Hmmm...I wonder what all these states have in common?

Ya - not saying he couldn't land an NFL gig,but the schrewd GMs wouldn't be entertaining the thought of him as HC. Sark has been an one @ Washington,USC & UT so more often than not he had stacked/solid rosters. And this year UT started up at No.1/2 depending on the pole.Maybe as an assistant or OC but that's it IMHO

Sounds like Brian Kelly has been or is about to be canned at LSU. That was always a weird fit, though he's an intriguing name for all the other coaching openings. This coaching carousel feels crazier than usual with all the midseason firings.

If PSU doesn't want him, MSU will.

Nope he's a cancer, his purple face facade has worn thin. He was at LSU & ND he should have had better finishes along the way.Suprise PSU doesn't give Joe Morehead a look,he was a great OC there and he's only 51
