AZ AD didn’t fire RR to make room for Sumlin. They fired RR because of Title 9 implications and IMO handled the justice of it as responsibly as they could’ve.
Sumlin was hired because Arizona St wanted him too. A joke to reflect on.

What's the deal with Purdue and Northwestern? I thought Purdue did really well to think that they hung tight with NU despite being -3 in TO margin... Is it possible that Northwestern is just bad, and Purdue is too?

Purdue generally doing well against EMU. One blown big play and didn't do well in the 2-minute defense before the half. But otherwise they've contained EMU. Offense can't finish drives though...

No big menus planned for today. One of my fellow Boilermakers got married a month ago, so my wife and I, and another couple [fellow Boilermaker], are taking him and his new bride out to a fancy dinner in Carlsbad.
