It's probably pretty good, basically just the same thing as cheesy bread dipped in marinara, but already combined for you.

There's a local bakery that sold a a tart with tomatoes and olives. Got dang it was good, I might try to make one this weekend despite the lack of great tomatoes.

If you ever travel though East Tn in tomato season, stop and see if you can get some Grangier County Tomatoes . Most grocery stores, Walmart, vegetable stands sale them between  Johnson City and Knoxville

I was pleasantly surprised how inexpensive cafes were in Rome.  They ranged from pretty good to quite good, and four of us were dining for $50-60.  I was a bit shocked at how expensive lunch was at the hotel, I guess I should have expected it.  In Europe, hotel restaurants often are very good, competitive with others around.  Some are superb.

We only had breakfast at the hotel from thereon, it was "free" (as in included) and one of the best I've had anywhere.  The weird thing is the hotel room prices fell by half over a two week period.  We didn't stay there when we arrived because it was so pricey, then two weeks later it's half price.

The weather in Rome was quite good during our stay, first of November.  The weather in Florence was good for ducks.  We looked for the famous water tower but couldn't find it.

It's just a crappier version of the pizza that you were ripping on up thread.
