Great game last night
horrible injury to Mo and is likely out for the season
Refs did not lose the game for the gophers but it is shocking how inconsistent they are
having as much talent as OSU has at every position is a great level to be at
The gophers had to play a perfect game and get some breaks and they just didn't play perfectly. they played well but not perfect
biggest turning point was the strip fumble recovery for the TD that took a lot out of the guys
OSU is a very talented team and will be a tough team to beat. QB will get better and the defense will get better
good luck the rest of the season
Yes, agree across the board. I know some tOSU fans are salty about the fairly soft roughing call, and I get it, but I feel like that call gets made 80% of the time these days, whether it should be or not.
And the Buckeyes also benefitted from some bad calls that went against the Gophs, one pretty egregious DPI went uncalled, I think it was a deep pass down the sideline that would have built momentum for the boat-rowers.
But overall the Buckeyes are just so talented, so deep, and it showed through over the course of the game. They're really fun to watch, and in an alternate reality where Saban's Alabama doesn't exist, I feel like we'd be talking about the current Buckeyes in similar tones.
It was a super-entertaining game, i enjoyed it a lot.
Also when I saw the injury to the Minnesota RB, I felt like it was really bad. Sure hope he has a full recovery as soon as is possible. That's a gut punch.
