I still don't understand targeting interpretations.

Make up call from that Clemson game two years back, where their WR took like 4 steps before the ball was knocked loose, and they called it incomplete.

OSU did a good job, enduring a game Gopher club's best effort.  This was a useful game for them.

They have enough pieces on offense.  Stroud will get better, Henderson will get more touches.  I'm concerned about a defense that surrenders 31 to Minnesota, playing half the game without their best offensive player.  As is college football though, it'll probably be December 31 before that matters though.

I was actually pretty pleased they did better than I thought they would.

Ibrahim didn’t leave till late in the third quarter and they gave up some yards to the big tens’ best but still held Minnesota to 4.4 yards per carry while gaining 7.7 yards per carry with their own offense. That’s probably the best running back they will see all year.

They held Minnesota to just over 200 yards passing but only 8.8 yards per pass. And remember their two starting corners, cam brown and seven Banks, did not play a single down in this game. They went with a true freshman at one corner and rotated 2 red shirt freshman at the other.

They also played six different linebackers for large portions of the game and gave them all a look.

As far as CJ Stroud, I was quite impressed. Remember, he had not even seen a crowded stadium let alone played in a game so to go into a hostile environment and throw for 300 yards and four touchdowns, I thought was pretty impressive. He looked shaky a little bit in the second quarter but he was an assassin in the second half.

Yah, that looked head to head / launching at a defenseless player to everyone who was at the pro-OSU bar I was at. (Woody's on Campusview)

It looked a h3ll of a lot more of a penalty that the Roughing the passer BS call earlier that negated a pick.

Minny played a good game. And until the non call on the targeting seemed like they had a shot. Any word on Ibriham's injury?

Yes that was probably a make up call for the ghost roughing the passer call.

that was basically a 14 point swing in Minnesota’s favor. They return the interception to the 10 yard line, but instead gave Minnesota 15 yards and they scored on the next play.

Buffalo survives a close scare against Wagner 69-7.

Do they have a puncher's chance against the Huskers next week?

The roughing the passer was a textbook call. Defender clubbed the qb in the head.
