Not a great throw, but it was a great catch.

Sayin is very accurate, not sure I've seen a bad ball today. Though hardly anything down the field; Texas is pretty good at taking that away so that might just be how it is today.
There's your deep shot.

Was thinking where in the hell are the other receivers

True. If that ball would have been better placed it would have been a much easier catch in stride.

The exact same thing just happened in the WVU game. Never saw it before either and I’ve seen it twice today
I didn't see the one in the WVU game, did it matter?

The one in the TX/tOSU game was more-or-less irrelevant because the runner got to the 30 so it was 1st and 10 at the 25 instead of 1st and 10 at the 30.

I don't think he caught that.

I'd like to see a better angle though.

Purdue with the shutout!

Not that I'm expecting much this year, but it's always nice to see this kind of start. Especially when it's MACtion and not an FCS foe.

Surprised Texas didn't call time there.

I find it annoying when announcers are stupid.

"What would it mean to Ryan Day if OSU gets the shutout today?"

Uhh...

It means that OSU stopped Texas deep in scoring territory twice where Texas could have easily walked away with 6 points. But Texas didn't feel that trading FGs for TDs was going to be a winning strategy so they went for it.

Purdue likewise got a shutout because of two missed FGs, but they were 45 and 29 yards, and both effectively "garbage time". So the Purdue shutout is a feel good thing, but the difference between 31-0 and 31-6 was meaningless because the game was never in contention. For OSU Texas the game was still in contention on both drives.

Well I guess that "shutout" talk is moot now :57:

Nice toss, Arch.

Ooh... That one is pretty close. They could go either way.

That is a lot closer than I initially thought.

Sure was. Initially I didn't even know why they were looking at it but the replays showed it was a really close call.
