[prepares to eat words...]
I'd be embarrassed to celebrate a 13-point home win over Buffalo like this.
BUT he has made that program way more relevant than it had been in a long time.
Actually, I think Minnesota is mostly about the same as it has been for two decades, except Minnesota seems to have caught up to Wisconsin during P.J.'s tenure, so there is some advancement, although it could be attributed to regression in Madison.

Our country may come together if we can just get a weekend of Auburn-Baylor and ND-Miami every week.  Everyone you love is on the Epstein list, but its better than being a fan of Auburn or Baylor
Perhaps the greatest post on cfb51.com, ever. I laughed out loud, alone in my room.

Gonna try to make sicilian pizza. The youngest daughter has been wanting to make homemade pizza forever and this seems like the best option for not doing a ton of work and being slightly or largely inebriated by 3 pm.

It's this. People don't realize how far Paul Chryst let the program fall. He and his staff did not embrace the Portal or NIL. He had a staff full of buddies, and he went a whole year without a recruiting department.

PC's last class was 2023 (LF took over late in the cycle). There are only 5 kids left from that class, and only 5 (each) left from the 2022 cand 2021 classes.

Luke Fickell inherited a shit sandwich with a culture (complacency) problem.

It's mostly all his now, so we'll see how he does, moving forward. Those PC kids who weren't bought in are gone (graduated or transferred out). Those who are bought in? They stayed.

Some friends and family coming over for the 11 AM game.  I'm doing breakfast tacos with choices of eggs, chorizo, potato, bacon, cheese, homemade salsa, and my sister's boyfriend is bringing over the carne guisada.  We'll have mimosas, screwdrivers, bloody marys, and other assorted adult beverages.

In recent years I switched over to YouTubeTV for my "cable" package, and earlier this week there was a scare that Fox and YTTV were in a dispute and they were going to take the Fox channels off of the service, which would of course affect the Texas-Ohio State game.

So I went digging through my FOUR boxes of extra A/V crap, and found my old OTA antenna.  I hooked it up, tested it, and everything was good to go.  Took me about 45 minutes to do all of that.

So, of course, within about ten minutes of finishing that, I hear the news that they've agreed to a temporary contract extension and YTTV will have the game after all.

Still, after testing the OTA antenna, it reminded me of just how much better the HD picture quality is over the air.  So I decided to leave the antenna set up, and watch the game live over the air.

Plus it'll prevent any weird buffering that might happen-- my Spectrum cable connection has always had some problems, but unfortunately there are no fiber options in my neighborhood.

I had the sound down on the Thursday night game.  Announcers weren't good.

Wasn't about the Swifties, I just rarely have the sound up.
