The report states that the thumbnail on the throwing hand was ripped off when he followed through and hit a Husker defender's helmet. Confidence is pretty high that he'll be ready to go at Michigan State. Tayven Jackson was a four-star recruit who suffered under poor coaching last year with Tom Allen's staff. He looked pretty good in the second half last week. He's much more athletic and has a better arm than Rourke. We'll see if that means anything I guess. Expect IU to emphasize the run further against one the B1G's lesser run defenses.

I don't think Washington was intending on multiple 9 AM PDT starts as a condition of joining the league.

Some internet sleuth thought they captured a picture of the thumbnail embedded in a Nebraska player's helmet

I don't think Washington was in position to count on anything other than the check clearing

Washington probably did not get preferred scheduling in the PAC

I think even without Rourke, Indiana absolutely rolls Washington travelling the 3 time zones

Indiana 37, Washington 14

The backup also looked good last week. I think they hang 50 again.

I know you're not supposed to bet on your favorite team but IU has been good to me this year. This week I'm playing this parlay:

Justice Ellison - Anytime TD scorer
Indiana -9.5
IU total points -30.5
Tayven Jackson over 218.5 passing
Omar Cooper over 38.5 receiving
Justice Ellison over 58.5 rushing

Not being able to gamble on completed games has always been my weak spot with sports betting
