The MAC has announced they will start playing 9 conference games in 2028.

This could be a problem because right now the MAC has 13 football members.  All 13 members can't play 9 conference games.  One would have to play 8 or 10 games.

Speculation that this could mean somebody is leaving or somebody is joining the MAC in 2028.
