SEC would take 'em in a heartbeat.  Any conference would.  Just too much money to turn 'em down.

not disagreeing with you. just sick of the basterds. they have had many opportunities to join the B1G and spat in the face of the conference far too many times. they can go pound sand as far as i am concerned.

Oh I get it.

Personally I don't see a need to attempt to exert pressure to try and force them to join a conference, because I'm fine with college football being weird and not exactly like the NFL.  In fact I prefer it.

I like conferences with different numbers of teams, with different methods of determining their champions, and random independents floating around the scene.  Trying to wedge all of this into an NFL Lite model, makes the sport far less interesting to me.
