I doubt if someone pierced your ear with a .223 from 140 yards away you'd consider that a minor event.

how would you describe it if the shot would have been fatal?
I'm not saying it wasn't a significant event, but it could have been a MAJOR event.  It wasn't.

If Donald Trump was killed, it would be described as a national tragedy.

This is very close to a national tragedy. It's a dark day in our history.

Yes, 5 to 9 people died from the results of Jan 6th,  depending on how you count it.

2 Trump supporters died of heart attacks day of attack
1 trump supporter died from being shot day of attack
1 Trump supporter died from an amphetamine overdose day of attack
1 cop died day after attack from the effects of the attack.
4 police officers involved in attack committed suicide in the following  6 months after the attack. (These 4 are questionable what really caused them to commit suicide)
