MSP has always been a fortress hub. Hell, one of the reasons Delta merged with Northwest were their fortress hubs (Motown, Snowtown, and No-town).

The only drawback to that is that there is very little widebody flying out of here. They still run NW's old 757s a lot from here to anywhere in the US. The ones I can't fit into.

Cincinnati used to have a decent number of flights to Europe, but Delta basically pulled out and the airport is about a third of what it once was.  They only have one flight to Europe now (CDG), apparently for GE/CFM.

We flew to Miami for our cruise, MIA seems pretty nice and has a lot of flights to SA etc.

I had used a companion ticket and booked us in first, the flight down had Delta One seats for first.  I'd love to have that to Europe, but not for $7-8K.
Why is it called the Cincinnati airport if it's in Kentucky?

It's just a silly name.  Like chili or the gulf of American
