It's a bit weird to see the itinerary that goes back and forth.  I'm interested in Malta, my wife wanted to see the Greek islands.  Then we have a stop in Cannes which is odd, my wife has not had good things to say about Cannes.  Florence is a nice place to visit.  The first day is at sea.  A couple we know is going with us, they've never been to Europe at all, are very nervous.
Which way does it go first? South to Messina (which you will like)?

The first port is Santorini.  I've been to Nice briefly, never to Cannes.  We've been to Athens for two days, had a good time, some good food.  We've been to Naples briefly.  Some of these places we'll just debark and wonder about, like Cannes and Naples, no tour.

This is a larger ship than the one we did last in Asia.  It's not the largest and newest.  It's pretty easy to find a place to hang out that isn't crowded.  I booked z larger balcony cabin on the 13th deck.

At Heathrow.  Boarding at 1:10.  Gate unknown before 1:00.  This airport is awful.  Long bus ride included.  Dirty crowded awful smelly goofy.

Long lines for any loo.  Awful airport, might be worse than Toronto.

Leaving for Maine and Massachusetts on Wednesday for a long weekend of visiting friends and family and watching the misery that is my Browns playing the Patriots.

NORTHERNMOST FOOTBALL FIELD IN THE WORLD - This past weekend, the Barrow Whalers defeated the Kenai Central Kardinals to continue their playoff run in Alaskan football. To the left is the Arctic Ocean, and 3 miles straight ahead is the northernmost point in the US.

Do you prefer North Sioux City, SD? Or South Sioux City, NE?

Just got back from a stay on a floating cabin in the Laguna Madre in South Texas. That was a really awesome experience. We launched at Padre Island, just south of Corpus Christi, it was 40 miles by boat, down past Baffin Bay.  We brought 50+ gallons of fuel to keep the generator humming and extra for the boat. Caught fish all day and at night under the lights.
