My wife was not too taken with Istanbul.  I liked the historical items there, and meeting some Turkd and talking with them.  The boat ride we took was excellent, beautiful weather that day.  We agreed we wouldn't go back, but that has changed, one of the Turk friends we met just visited us and sketched out a tour we might like to do in 10 days or so.  She seemed attracted to the idea.  Turkey has some "things to see".

She really liked Tokyo mostly because we had an 8 hour private walking tour, I was impressed with Seoul.  We're going back to the latter, our next cruise starts there again.

Norman is actually a pretty nice little town.  Obviously it sucks because ou sucks, but aside from that, it's alright.

I was thinking of a Husker game destination that sucked, but I've not been to Boulder or Columbia

Figured they would suck and stayed away

Boulder's great!  CU fans were complete trash but I like the town and surrounding areas.

Lubbock is... not great.  But a college kid can still have a good time there, I sure did!

Waco wasn't great but I had a good time

lightning delay sent us out of our seats and the rain had us leave early but 4 different Huskers rushed for over 100 yards and I got to tailgate with Droog

A decent enough list, I think.  Kinda funny to go somewhere to see ruins though.  I would add a few, probably, Scandanavia as a whole, Turkey, Egypt, Israel (not now), India, Korea, China, Oman ...

I've been to Canada on a motorcycle

saw some nature - mostly trees and lakes

the cities of Thunder Bay and Kenora weren't anything to write home about
