Hilton has a place I can stay quasi-free in Mougins in Provence, and another in Tuscany, that would be the plan.  They are condos.

Where did you get it from? The best pizza in Indy is Jack's. That's our standard Friday night fare.
It was Donato's. This town seems to shut down at 10 so we had few options. Rental car was valeted and my wife didn't want to walk anywhere, so we were stuck with whatever GrubHub could deliver.

Man I'd love to do this.  Make it a couple of months, even.
Between Ireland, England, France, Belgium and Netherlands, I am going to be gone for about a month. About 5 of those days will be at sea crossing the Atlantic. another 9 days in various ports and the rest going over the land and visiting various places in a France and England. My retirement trip.

I suggested that cruise to my wife, it's cheap, she was not interested.

We love those crossings. Great way to get home from Europe. Lots to do on the ship and opportunities to make good friends, which we have.

Depart Barcelona or Lisbon.

Normally a stop in Madeira or Tenerife, then a stop in Bermuda.

Hopefully end up in Fort Lauderdale (We prefer over Miami).

This is a 13 day cruise on NCL, pretty cheap.  Six days to get to the Azores.  It's in January and my wife said the weather would be bad, which is not entirely true, but it conflicts with baseball, so it's a no go.  I was discussing with her taking a cruise to relax more than see things.

We'll stay with NCL, they work out just fine for us.  A reality is we can "relax" pretty well staying at home, if we tire of cooking we can dine out of course.  I'm more interested in cruising so as to explore areas difficult to visit on our own.  I was looking at a cruise to Iceland and Norway, looked pretty interesting, but then I thought we can just visit each on our own time.

We've been on six cruises now, and have never gone to a "show".  We hear the entertainers in various lounges as we pass by at times and none of them are good at all.  Maybe the big shows are better, don't know.  They have a thousand seat theater on the larger ships.  There also is a casino which must make a LOT of money for them somehow because each time we pass through there are hardly any customers.  They have more workers than customers.  (The ATM is there.)

No casinos on Azamara. No kids. No waterslides.

As I noted earlier, I don't mind the NCL large ships at all.  There are very few kids aboard, we rarely see them.  Things like casinos and water slides (if they have them) are easily avoided.  I think the water slide and race car tracks are gimmicky things they mostly use in the Caribbean cruise ships.

Our next Asian cruise is on a "smaller" ship, only (ha) 1900 passengers.  That really isn't much different of course but they lack what they call "club balcony suites", which are a bit larger than regular balcony.  The suites larger than those get silly expensive in a hurry.  We're mostly aboard to see things on land, though I enjoy a few days at sea to relax.

I know some folks get the inside regular cabins because of price and then figure they only stay there to sleep.  They are pretty tight though.  My wife would not approve.
