Nowhere in the world are there more mini golf courses than Myrtle Beach.  In addition to the strand of 40+ courses that all seem the same when trying to figure out which ones to play.

Have not yet been to Tokyo, only seen the airport in Istanbul, Cape Town is on the short list somewhere.

The only one that interests me on that list is Tokyo. Been to Rome twice.

Friends tell me Cape Town is worth the effort.  Our Istanbul trip was scheduled for April 2020, didn't work out.

It's on our list for the next Europe trip. Tell me about it.

I don't view Capetown as requiring more effort than Tokyo or Istanbul, we have a direct flight from here to J-burg.  Istanbul has a direct flight, so it's a bit easier.  Tokyo gets tough because of the time zone changes.  My preference would be go to Hawaii for a week and then to Tokyo.

Tokyo is on my list. And from here it's relatively easy to get direct flights, only ~9 hrs IIRC.

Hmm. I thought it was less. Maybe because the return is only 10 hrs.

I was thinking of it being shorter than Taipei which due to great circle routing almost takes you right over Japan being 12 hrs, but again that's the return flight not the outbound flight which is closer to 14 hrs.
