I need to visit Florida with a couple sides of beef, perhaps passing through Atlanta on the way
South Carolina is on my list, as well as Cincy & Columbus, OH
Louisiana, Arkansas
I've heard Nashville and Memphis are nice
New Mexico, northern Arizona, Nevada, Utah, even Cali

Boston - New Hampshire - Maine
Maybe Niagara/Buffalo

I have a passport but there's plenty of places to visit that an airport or a passport aren't required

Why did Constantinople get the works?

It's none of your business.

What would be your position then, if I were to inform you, that I am in fact a Turk?

My position would be to advise you to not go for a visit. Not that you asked...

Then I concede, it may indeed be your business. But nobody elses that are not Turks.

My nieghbor is an old Turk, he's nearly 70, grew up in Ankara.  PhD from Harvard and postdoc at Oxford, professor of physics at GaTech for 32 years.  He's currently in Ethiopia.

He goes often on safaris to photo wildlife in exotic locations, which is why he's there.  He's been all over darkest Africa.

He has to take a lot of antimalarial pills and Pepto Bismol etc.

I have a friend - a Catholic priest from Uganda. Other friends have visited there.

They tell me Florida has no bugs compared to Uganda.

Not a snowball's chance in Hell I visit there.

I still order the sauce and rub from Rendezvous.

The major US cities I would revisit make a pretty short list, Boston is one.  In summer.  Miami?  Not really.  SanDiego because of family.  SF same reason.  I don't mind SF like some do, I expect they don't like it because of what they see in the "news".  Nashville is OK.  My wife likes the GOO a lot.  Been once.

A very nice downtown is Greenville, SC, not a large city of course, but they did a great job there with a dying town.

My last visit to Asheville was VERY concerning.  We went downtown and it was a mess.

Savannah is fine, not in summer.  Orlando, yuck.  My wife likes NYC.  I go to Washington, DC some because I have family near there too.

I don't know of a reason to go to Cincinnati other than friends, there are a few things to see but I've seen'em.

Large cities? Not too many on my list that I've not been to.

There are no cities on the Pacific that I will return to, unless you count Honolulu.

In the NE, I'd go to Boston again, and Providence.

In the MW, I have to go to Chicago (area) and Milwaukee (area) for family and work. Not gonna be hanging out downtown in either place.

Mid-Atlantic, I'd return to Virginia Beach, Charlotte and RD.

South, most cities except Memphis and Louisville.

Need to get to

Charleston, SC
Savannah, GA
Maine

What's Philly like? I've never been. Also never been to DC. What's that like?
