Yeah, I saw a few folks in OSU gear and have them the "O-H" talk, it caught them off guard.

I was wearing a blue pullover with a Braves A on it and got several "roll tide" comments from folks.  Duh, it's blue.

There was gear from all over, it was fun.  Place was pretty crowded, beautiful weather.

Our hotel had a rooftop bar that was pretty neat, overlooking the river and downtown.
one of my friend's fathers would often tell us, we didn't have to go that far just to drink beer

I enjoy Nashville for a lot of reasons.  I don't get the appeal of Braodway.  As you said, why am I paying all of this money to travel to a crowded spot to drink.

Speaking of, it has to be ok to start tailgating now for a big Friday night hoops game against WMU, right? :72:

Greetings from Lisbon.

Awesome hotel on the river. Just saw the Queen Liz leave port.

Speaking of port... Holy shit is the port good here.

And the Portuguese women... holy sheep shit. I get why MDot likes the Brazilians. These girls here will knock your socks off. Even Mrs. 847 said so. And I asked... NO!!!

We met some nice folks on the rooftop bar, two were there to get certified in a corporate jet, the GS 650.

This is inside the old power plant, now a hotel with fancy bar and geodes.

I was told they spent $375 million on this and it opened 9 months ago, it was pretty swank.  The shops were filled with pricey things.

New Port of Savannah ‘mega railyard’ aims to ease supply backlog – WSB-TV Channel 2 - Atlanta (wsbtv.com)

I had not known this was the third largest port in NA.  I'm a trifle dubious now.

Savannah was where my ex boss used to have his german cars shipped to.  His body shop guy would drive the truck to Savannah and load them up.

Time to plan an epic cross-country rail journey.
If you’re ready to plan an epic cross-country train trip, Amtrak has got you covered. The country’s main rail operator is offering its 30-day USA Rail Pass at a cost of $399, or $100 off the regular $499 price.
The deal lasts until March 29 and allows passengers to take up to 10 rides in a 30-day period. The first segment of trip can be booked up to 120 days after the pass is purchased and the 30-day period begins with the first leg of the trip.

Customers can purchase the pass on Amtrak.com, where they can also book and modify each segment of their rail journey. Pass holders will receive an electronic ticket for each train trip booked, which they will then present to the conductor when boarding.
