Mike Bobo looking old and limping makes me feel old. I remember him going near perfect against uw in one of those Fla bowls.

Tied. Purdue to get the ball with 52 seconds and 3 time outs.

Any particular reason they're playing at Nevada?

Typical Purdue bullchit.

Not going to beat anyone with 5 turnovers.

It would be easier to take if it wasn't happening for 3 years running.

Say what you want about teams playing their smaller instate schools for revenue, but I guarantee Howard won't look as bad as Tulsa does.
About that...

After what happened, I feel like this needs expanded on...this is just too good!

So as OAM rightfully asked, why is Purdue playing a season opener away game against a G5 team a few time zones to the west at an altitude with 15% less oxygen?

Well let me tell you.  You see, our good ole former AD, Morgan Burke, was responsible for this.

Burke made arrangements for a home and home with Nevada to do a favor for a friend of his.  Said friend has ties to Nevada.

Why, you might ask, did he do this favor?  Well that friend was involved in the hiring process of...drumroll please...Darrell Hazell!!  The worst coach in Purdue history.  The coach that will take 5 full years to recover from.

Standing ovation please for Morgan Burke, who managed to help screw the football team over one last time from retirement.

Ok I'm done, but that did feel kinda good. :49:

Yeah, me too, he was a very solid QB.  Hines Ward was on that team.

Georgia-Bobo 26-28-0-267, Ward 0-1-0-0.

Starting quarterback Mike Samuel completed 8-of-27 passes for 84
yards with two interceptions and was sacked four times.

About that...
You were supposed to move on from this....

Very disappointed all the way around.

Howard simply came to collect a check. I know nothing more now, than when I did before this game.

It was read option from them, botched punts, and a very vanilla offense from us. Really looked like 3 or 4 plays over and over.

How does Kansas follow up a 7 game against Coastal Carolina with a 28 point first half against BC?
