sat at a sports bar in old market Omaha last night for the game with brother and Wingnut and a couple others.

some football fans were unsure why half of the big screens were showing volleyball

great atmosphere, decent beer on tap, $10 prime rib melt sammiches

the 4th quarter looked like an Iowa game (ugly)

We're going to the local "Farmer's Market" (they don't feature many farmers), then maybe to lunch at Alta Toro or somewhere.  I found my "lucky" red UGA shirt so I'm feeling better about the game now.  My wife somehow had it under a lot of other shirts.  Bummer.

We leave Tuesday for two weeks in England/Scotland/Ireland, weather looks rainy.

Going to brother's up the road once he's done shopping with his wife at the Farmer's Market. Planning on watching Oklahoma-Texas and later Alabama-Texas A&M. Very foggy out here on the Pacific Coast.

 Either a fake punt or botched snap that gave Maryland good field position, and great throw and catch gives Maryland the early 7-0 lead

I like these Maryland uniforms. It makes me nostalgic as a kid remembering Darryl Talley chasing around Boomer Esiason.
