I don't want either team to win.
Georgia has strong early 2000s Red Sox energy.  When Boston tried to brand itself as the lovable underdog against the Yankees.  When really they were just the unsuccessful version of the Yankees.  I want a good game, but it's not like this is some true underdog against Alabama.  It's just Alabama vs. less successful Alabama.

why can't they do it on Saturday night?
Yup there are folks that still have to work on tuesdays but the choads in suits think tough stay up .Why not a Fri/Sat and secure that - just a swampy morass of meh.

Friday doesn't work for a nation wide broadcast.  Because you have to put it on at 9 ET.  Saturday IS college football, and now that there is no NFL playoffs this weekend anymore, it seems doable
