UF's loss to LSU probably doesn't matter for the CFP because they probably will lose to Bama anyway but what if they win?

Assuming that UF knocks off Bama in the SECCG and aTm wins in Knocksville, the SEC's CFP contenders would be:

  • 10-1 SEC-W Champion Bama
  • 9-2 SEC Champion Florida
  • 8-1 non-Champion aTm

I think that Bama would be in and the other two out but who knows?
I remain eye-rolling at A&M, but that is what it is. I guess if they have a win against the SEC champs, that helps, though a 5-loss team has also done that in UF's building.

Are you saying,Mullen mailed it in?With a chance to go to the CFP,maybe you should check your theories at the door. That'd make Mullen a bigger moron than you
I think a lot of people are questioning how seriously Mullen took this game and how prepared he had his team for it.

Mullen told the announce crew he thought UF could lose to LSU and still get in the CFP by beating Bama. He just rested Pitts. That’s strange behavior to say the least and his team reflected his comments and actions.

Cool.  We lost to LSU's JV team due to a thrown shoe.

#3 is in the ole miss dog pisser category of infamy.
No.  At least that guy is good.  Marco Wilson played well as a FR, tore up his knee, and has sucked for 3 years.  Then he throws a shoe.

When did Mullen say that? Before or after the Game?

There is no chance Florida beats Alabama.  Alabama could win by 2+ scores without throwing a pass.

The announcers shared that he said it in their pre-game interview the day before.  Mullen is wrong.

OSU/UM cancelled, but today still came down to “The Shoe”

Watching USC/UCLA:

Whoever is in charge of the XP/go for 2 decision for USC should be fired tonight:

  • In the third quarter they scored to pull within five (28-23) and went for two to pull within a FG. Way too early to start chasing it in a high scoring game.
  • With 16 seconds to go they scored to take a four point lead. They kicked the XP to make it five. Why? There is literally no difference between a four and a five point lead but six would at least force UCLA to kick an XP if they did score a TD.

I don't think Florida's performance has anything to do with Mullen taking this game lightly.  This is how Florida has performed the past 3 games.  Only this time, the pinball of random chance screwed us with oddball turnovers.

Florida's effort and performance are precisely aligned with their effort the past 3 games.

Their defense is butt.

Which is funny because when they hired him and he brought Grantham along, many said, that'll work for a little and then they'll have a bad defense that will cost some team.
