We don't stuff it into the bird, so for us it's dressing. My mom uses the same recipe her mom used, and who knows where my grandmother got it.  But it's not just any ol' dressing, it's cornbread dressing, and that's important.  It's the best I've ever had.  My i s c & a aggie wife is usually upset when it's our year to have T-day with HER family because she craves my mom's cornbread dressing so much.

In east-central GA, all dressing is cornbread dressing....because why would you make anything else?

To me, it's all stuffing, but if I'm given something called stuffing and something called dressing, I'll prefer the stuffing.  The dressing may be good, too, but I'll prefer the stuffing.

stuffin is just a filler that ya pour gravy on top of, but it can be flavored up differently than taters

got the Alton Brown turkey recipe ready to roll

perusing for a crockpot sweet tater recipe

Evidently Badgerfan found out somehow they passed away on the same day.Originally Maximum Sam found out about Gator on FaceBook in June/July 2016.A couple of months later can't remember who found out about Hoople.Sad days for the old board and they are missed

I'm thankful for interacting with both gentlemen on the boards and especially thankful to have met and spent time with Gatorama on more than one or two occasions

They were both pretty good doods, for sure.

I found out about hoops while interacting with ftbobs about bringing his trivia site here (still working on that). Hooops owned the hosting of the site, which is why it is no longer on line as it was.

It will be back, in the spirit of Mr. Hoople. I'm confident of that.

Welp...

Thanksgiving is cancelled in the 847 house tomorrow. My Ma is in critical at the hospital and everything is up in the air. Maybe we'll do it on Saturday, if all breaks well. 

I'll be very thankful if she comes out OK.

My two brothers are there with her now and I'll go first thing in the AM.
