i've got it set up several different ways- the metatags all have 'big ten message board' in them. i'm still waiting for google to pick up the rich cards or rich snippets, but they are lagging. we're climbing the list rapidly, though, which is good. the 'publisher' is drawing the majority of search traffic, and hopefully people find us through that.
i got the little lock of 'secure' this weekend after tracking down the last of the insecure links this weekend... the only time anyplace on the site isn't 'secure' is when pics are posted from sources that aren't encrypted.... that is huge with the search engines...
we're getting there. we're far beyond anything i expected from this place even knowing cfn/scout was about to crash...... i just need the store to sell some stuff to pay for it now. all in all i'm just over 5 digits into this, which is fine- so long as it comes back over the next few years.
