I have to agree with him on the pass interference. It was called on the Defense and it was clearly offenses PI.  It led to Michigan’s second from last field goal.
But Illinois should not be complaining. All they needed to do was get one or two first downs and they couldn’t do it. And honestly it didn’t look like they tried all that hard.

Nah, the PI was a good call.  I think that *probably* wasn't a catch, but it was called a catch live, and I'm fine with not overturning it.  Either way it was a difference of 4 yards

I listened to the end of the Michigan/Illinois game on Sirius. It was the Illinois broadcast and the Illini radio guys were pretty upset about a couple calls toward the end. There was a catch reviewed that they were convinced was not a catch and (earlier) an offensive PI not called. Any takes on those?

Michigan got super lucky. On their fourth down conversion, there was a completely obvious pass interference on the offense that the refs somehow missed. Should have been 4th and 13.

That was a pick play for sure.  But that never gets called 

Gophers down 10 0 after Iowa goes right down the field TWICE. So much for the worst offense in D1.

Also it's an interesting strategy to force the Gopher return man to bring the ball out. He should be fair catching everything. And that's with the wind at their back. 

If they don't get points on this series they're toast.

Michigan and OSU both look like they were looking ahead to each other. Michigan had like 7 starters out. What’s OSU’s excuse?

Yeah - they look distracted.  Lots of self inflicted mistakes including penalties.  

But injuries are no excuse.  They are without their best RB, their 2nd best RB is a shell of himself and their 3rd best RB tore his ACL before the season.  Not to mention their best WR. 

everyone is banged up this time of year- no excuse.   Maryland deserves credit.  They are sharp.  OSU- not so much.
